Sanchez earned an associate degree in mass communications and journalism from North Campus in 2022 and a bachelor’s degree in organizational communication from Florida International University in 2024.
The MDC Journalism Speaker Series was launched in February of 2008 to provide students the opportunity to network with working journalists. More than 86 journalists have participated in the series since its inception.
